TRACKDAYS

Contrary to Touristenfahrten, where basically every type of vehicle is welcome, a trackday means limited access to the track exclusively for the participants. That means no bikes and no buses!

Some trackdays only allow road-legal cars and apply normal traffic laws, like overtaking on left side only, while others are open to racecars. A lot of race teams use this second type of trackday as test sessions.

Furthermore, most trackdays offer the possibility to drive the whole Döttinger Höhe straight at full speed so you can do lap after lap without having to stop at the Touristenfahrten barriers. Sometimes even the full VLN course is offered, meaning Nordschleife and GP track combined to one loop.
