Our first Toyota GT86's, the Top Project for 2012, are still planned to arrive in August and we are very happy with our co-operation with Toyota. We know the car will be magnificent, just read these quotes from the guys from Top Gear who test drove the car at Jarama:
"that flat four engine, red-lined at 7,500rpm, pulls with gusto at the top end"
"Great gearbox and lovely, lovely brakes"
and of course
"this goes down as the best Toyota I've ever driven, and one of the best driving sports cars of the last decade"
Well, this will definitely be a car worth waiting for!

The Opel Corsa OPC Nürburgring Edition is back from the cage builder and we are very happy with the result. New rims have also been delivered, now we are only waiting for the semi-slick tires to arrive and then the car is ready for 2012 Nürburgring action!

Winter impressions Nürburgring
The winter so far has been mild, but as soon as it snows the Eifel mountains become even more beautiful which you can see in these pictures. In about 4 weeks time it will look completely differently though when the tourist driving season starts and mid-March the first 3 trackdays of the year take place. Rent Race Car will offer special deals in the coming days for the Destination Nürburgring event on the 20/21 March, watch this space!

One of the highlights of 2012 will be our co-operation with Toyota. We have had the honor to have the CEO Mr Akiyo Toyoda as our guest and customer on several occasions and we strongly believe in his track car philosophy. The most interesting launch in 2012 in this sector will be the new Toyota GT 86 and RentRaceCar will make it possible to drive this machine on the Nürburgring, hopefully you will be able to make reservations already in August. With 200 hp, RWD, LSD, 6-speed manual gearbox, most certainly under 1200 kg and 50/50 weight balance it will offer a very special driving sensation! Believe us, we will keep you posted on this!
